Why you should recycle your old mobile phone for cash

The longer you think about trading in your old mobile phones for cash the worse off you will be.

If your phone has been sat in a draw for more than a month then you probably don’t need it and wont use it again, so you plan to trade it in but don’t take action?

As newer handsets come out the older ones lose some value so waiting is costing you money and devaluing your old mobile phones. Don’t think because your handset is old that it is not worth trading in, for the few seconds it takes to check the value of a phone handset you could pocket yourself a few hundred. The Nokia N95 is a classic example of a phone handset that held value. The N95 can still bring in over £50 but just a few weeks ago this number was closer to £100!

If you are going to cash in a old phone make sure you take steps to avoid any problems with the data that you currently have stored on the phone, you would not want to be a victim of identity theft.

About us

Our mission is to educate people on ecologically sound ways which they can responsibly recycle their mobile phones. Every time someone throws a mobile phone in the bin, they consign a toxic product containing lithium, cadmium, mercury, lead and other substances to a polluted landfill somewhere. We know that nobody wants to pollute the environment, but we understand that it\'s difficult when there are so few mobile phone recyclers. Through recycling mobile phones, we are able to help the environment, educate the public and give back to the community.
